Alert! Ex-Secret Service Sharpshooter Defects, Foresees New Threat Against Trump!

Here’s something to chew on. A Secret Service counter-sniper has gone off the rails, forecasting another assassination attempt on President Trump. This startling news follows hot on the heels of some pretty damning revelations about the failures of the Secret Service during a recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Susan Crabtree, a White House correspondent for RealClearPolitics, has got her hands on some internal messages from agency counter-snipers. And folks, it ain’t pretty. There’s a lot of discontent brewing within the ranks. One of these counter-snipers even sent an email to the entire Uniformed Division, venting his frustration and warning of another assassination attempt before November if things don’t change. He was pretty blunt about it too: “The agency SHOULD expect another assassination attempt,” he wrote, pointing out serious issues with leadership and protocol.

This email didn’t come out of nowhere. It was a direct response to the security lapses at the Trump rally on July 13th. The sniper didn’t hold back in his criticism of senior supervisors, calling them out for failing to protect President Trump. He’s so fed up, he’s actually ashamed to be associated with the Secret Service. “We just look good doing it,” he said, referring to the superficial safety measures that didn’t do squat to ensure real protection.

And this isn’t just one disgruntled employee. This guy is calling for the heads of five senior officials – one of whom has already stepped down. Former Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned in disgrace after owning up to the security failures that let a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Crooks get way too close for comfort to President Trump.

Cheatle made some questionable calls, like not putting a sniper on the roof because she thought its slope would make things difficult for a counter-sniper. But these decisions have been widely criticized for leaving gaps in the security perimeter. The FBI and Oversight Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) revealed that the Secret Service pretty much left the rally’s security to local authorities, who didn’t do enough to investigate Crooks.

The counter-sniper’s email also spilled the beans on Crooks flying a reconnaissance drone near the rally site hours before his attack without any intervention. This lack of proactive security measures is another strike against the agency’s credibility. The sniper is so disillusioned, he said, “The team I was once proud to be a part of, is something I have to somehow hide as I move into my next career”.

These revelations need some serious attention and immediate changes within the Secret Service. The safety of our leaders – especially someone as divisive as President Trump – should never be in jeopardy. The counter-sniper’s warnings and calls for accountability underscore just how urgently we need systemic changes to avoid another potential disaster.

As more details come to light, it’s clear that the Secret Service needs to get its act together, and fast. We deserve transparency and assurance that our leaders are protected by an agency capable of doing its job right.
