A seemingly innocuous machine is now at the center of what President Trump is calling a growing scandal with serious constitutional implications. The controversy surrounds the Biden administration’s alleged overuse — or misuse — of an autopen to sign official presidential documents. And according to Trump, this isn’t just laziness or a bureaucratic shortcut — it’s part of a much larger and more disturbing pattern of deception.
On Saturday, President Trump took to Truth Social to blast the Biden White House, accusing them of weaponizing the autopen — a mechanical device that replicates a signature — to push through executive orders, laws, and federal appointments without Biden himself actually signing them. The issue gained traction after the Heritage Foundation revealed in a March report that a majority of Biden’s official documents may have been signed using the autopen. Breitbart News noted the findings and the troubling questions they raise about who’s really running the show.
“Whoever had control of the ‘AUTOPEN’ is looking to be a bigger and bigger scandal by the moment,” Trump wrote. “It is a major part of the real crime, THAT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN!”

Trump pointed to the autopen scandal as more proof that Biden is not in charge — physically or politically. The autopen, which in limited use might seem harmless, becomes deeply problematic when it’s used to simulate presidential authority, especially by a man who often struggles to finish a sentence without a teleprompter.
Trump just posted a photo of the autopen in place of Biden’s Presidential photo.
Not only is this an epic troll, but indicative of the fact that when this is all over, Fake Biden will not be recognized as having been President.

The president didn’t stop there. He connected the scandal to the January 6 witch hunt, the destruction of evidence by the unselect committee, and the broader corruption network that includes disgraced former FBI Director James Comey — who, this week, found himself under fire for what many believe was a coded assassination threat against Trump in an Instagram post that read “86 47,” spelled out in seashells.
Trump responded, “He knew what that meant. A child knows what that meant… That meant assassination.”
As for the autopen, the scandal may just be getting started. If Biden didn’t personally sign off on major policy decisions, that raises serious constitutional questions. Who was signing in his place? Who made those decisions? And if the autopen is in charge — who exactly is the president?
This isn’t just about ink. It’s about authority — and legitimacy.
