Crow, who has been a loyal mouthpiece for the Democratic Party for years, took to Instagram over the weekend to announce her grand act of resistance. “My parents always said… you are who you hang out with,” she wrote, alongside a dramatic video of her Tesla being towed away. So let’s get this straight: she’s upset that Musk is working with Trump, so her solution is to… sell a used car? That’ll really show him!

This is the same NPR whose CEO, Katherine Maher, was recently caught saying that the First Amendment is a “challenge.” That’s right, the head of a major news organization thinks free speech is a problem, not a fundamental right. And Crow, in her infinite wisdom, is rushing to throw money at them. It’s almost poetic.

Conservative commentator Gunther Eagleman hilariously pointed out her hypocrisy by posting a picture of her cozying up to Hollywood predator Harvey Weinstein. Ann Coulter piled on, quipping, “With Her Musical Career Behind Her, Sheryl Crow Is Now Selling Used Cars.” And then there was Brendan Carr, Trump’s FCC chair, who took Crow’s virtue-signaling as an opportunity to remind everyone why NPR doesn’t deserve taxpayer money. “Wouldn’t take too many celebrities following Sheryl Crow’s lead and selling their cars to keep NPR going without taxpayer dollars,” he joked. That one had to sting.
But the real story here isn’t just Crow’s embarrassing political stunt—it’s the meltdown happening on the left over Elon Musk. Ever since Musk started working with President Trump on the DOGE initiative to audit federal agencies and cut government waste, liberals have been losing their minds. They were fine with him when he was just the eccentric billionaire behind Tesla, but now that he’s helping Trump drain the swamp? Suddenly, he’s the enemy.
